Imagine you are lost in a big desert and, you don’t know where it ends and in which direction to go, what happens?

That’s exactly what happens in our life, Lot of us busy in our academic studies, office, job, children, a wife that’s all our routine life, and one- or two-family trips in a year, we don’t live beyond that. We are not involved in any social activities, no innovation, no experiment, no solo travel and no initiative, we don’t give exposure to ourselves to understand new things.

And that’s why having goals is important it will add charisma to your life,

Goal is to give Freedom, Independence to Hindustan to Freedom fighters, Goal is to give Top position to Indian flag in International games to athletes and sports players like Hima das, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, marry com, Vishwanath Anand, Milkha Singh, and in International cricket Sachin Tendulkar, M.s Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Goal is to create extraordinary students to the teachers, Goal is seed sown and turning into a green field to the farmer. It gives them a clear idea, direction and vision to perform their action. Goals adds the purpose to their life, it gives a reason to live an incredible life.

Life becomes more alert- (concrete preparation)
Adds the purpose to your work- (add reasons to your work, instead of daily routine)
Adds the purpose to your day, week, month and year- (Has the lively feeling, knows the direction)
You become live wired- (feeling of ‘Yes, I do exist in this world’)
It gives daily direction, vision and clear idea on what you do- (you know your travel destination is Mumbai To Kashmir, and journey starts Bandra terminus to Delhi, from there Cab to Manali, you are very clear, you know the direction so you don’t quit at Delhi or you don’t divert to Rajasthan. Don’t you?)
Pushes you to practice, to new learning- (you become more responsible)
Develops incredible imaginary power, new skills –
Breaks your comfort zone – (you go the extra mile- in the gym, you are doing dumbbell exercise you can see that your muscles are developing will you do two more dumbbells or will you stop? Yeh, you will do two more… you will go the extra mile)
Increases capability in hard work, creative thinking, confidence, appearance- (Evolving new character)
∙€€€€€€€€ You become the inspiration to others
∙€€€€€€€€ Feeling of achieving goals, achievement- (happiest person in the world)
∙€€€€€€€€ Setting new goals to break old records- (focused, ambitious)
∙€€€€€€€€ It helps you to become extraordinary from ordinary

You can set goals on achieving good physic, health, making family happy, travel goals, learning new things, joining new course, starting a new venture,

  1. Decide your goal. Could you decide your time limit to complete or achieve your goal? Now divide that time limit into long-span, mid-span and short-span

For example: if your goal time is one month, your long span is one month, your mid span is 2weeks, and your short span is one week.

Now take your short span as your long span, so now one week is your long span, now 3 days is your mid-span and 1 day is your short span

Once you are clear on what you have to achieve today, your mid-span is clear and your long span is clear, when you keep achieving your short-span goal, you will achieve your mid-span anyway, and when you keep achieving your mid-span goal you will achieve your long span by default

Practical example:

I want to travel to 4 cities in 30 days (long-span goal), 2 cities in 15 days(mid-span goal), 1 city in 7 days, vice versa 7 days 1 city which is 6 areas(long term), 3 areas in 3days mid-span), 1 area in 1 day ( short span goal)

Weight loss: 10kg in 2 months

Long-term goal- weight loss of 10kg in 2 months,

Mid-span goal- weight loss of 5kg in 1 month

Short span- weight loss of 2.5kg in 15 days

Now take your short term as a long term:

Long-term: weight loss of 2.5kg in 15 days

Mid-span goals: weight loss of 1.25kg in 7 days

Short span goal: weight loss of 0.5kg in days.

  1. Requirement and resources: Now once you know what your goal is and its timeline, figure out what are the requirements to achieve these goals and what will be the resources to meet the requirements.
  2.  Now once you have all the details and requirements to achieve your goal design the action plan.
  3. And start it with full force
